Giada De Laurentiis’ holiday salad will brighten up your table with fresh, crisp apples and endive, cheese, and a burst of color and texture from dried cranberries/pomegranate
seeds or raisins. Sneak in a little corn with that and your buddies will be running for seconds. You can get the recipe here.

Keep your brussels sprouts delectably simple by sauteing them in a skillet with bacon fat,
butter, and onions. I know, I know, it sounds like a scheduled heart attack. But then again, what else are Christmas meals for? Check out this amazing recipe here.

Roast Beef With Slow-Cooked Tomatoes and Garlic

Roast beef doesn’t get any easier than this. You only need four main ingredients, and
your oven does all the work. In fact, the only time you’ll need to use a knife is when
you’re ready to carve the roast. All four components―the beef, tomatoes, garlic
cloves, and thyme sprigs―roast together in one pan for about an hour for medium-
rare meat and you’re done.

While it’s cooking, you’ll have plenty of time to work on your sides and put together the rest of the meal. This my friends will win you brownie points with your friends, for a hot minute! Check this recipe here.

Mixed Mushroom Stuffing

Now I know you’re raising your brows at the fact that we’re suggesting that you serve
stuffing as a meal on its own…but roll with it for a second. We had to come
through for our vegetarian friends.

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Sauté mushrooms and red onions with thyme sprigs, stirring frequently,
until mushrooms are caramelized (you can go wild with this one really and add
whatever veggies you’d like), throw in pieces of bread and you’re good to go! Check the full recipe here.

Good Old Chocolate Brownie

A little chocolate ain’t never hurt nobody! And a brownie has been proven to make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. This is a scientific fact. Promise.

All you need is flour, sugar and cocoa powder. In another small bowl, whisk together
the butter and eggs. Add the egg mixture into the flour mixture, stirring until just
combined. Bake the brownies for 25 to 35 minutes, and you’re ready for a warm and fuzzy Christmas. Check the full recipe here.
